About This Blog
Every written piece of advice ever given to aspiring bloggers is that your blog has to be about something. You’re supposed to pick a topic and stick with it.
Being the nonconformist that I am, that’s not what I am going to do. Of course, I thought and wrote down ideas for single topics, I batted other ideas around my head, discarded some and thought of others, but I kept coming up blank. Then I realized that my biggest strengths as a writer are the essay and humor and that is the niche I will try to fill.
This blog is about whatever topic I decide to write about. It’ s a vehicle for me to sharpen my writing skills. It’s also a vehicle to unleash my wit upon the unsuspecting masses.
The tone will be light and humorous, with the occasional diversion into some seriousness. I will mostly stick with the funny. It is my philosophy in life to try and find the humor in everything. This is how I try to stay positive and mostly keep my sanity intact.
This blog started out as a knitting blog, but has evolved because Ravelry fills the purpose of the knitting blog better than using a blog to keep track of my projects than a blog ever did.
Comments are not moderated because I believe in the free expression of ideas. But there is one rule I ask you to follow. Be respectful of other people, even if you don’t agree with them. If you are not, then you will be asked to leave.
